I got the interview through a recruiting/staffing agency. I got a call from the agency a day or two after submitting my resume, and we scheduled an interview for later that week. It was a rather informal interview process. I was taken on a short tour of the building and lab. Then I was interviewed by the hiring manager, who was a researcher, and then two other researchers that I might have been working with if I was hired. The hiring manager was very laid back and mostly asked questions dealing with my resume, as did one of the other researchers. The last researcher went a little more in depth, asking why I applied, what drew you to this position/this research, etc. They ended up going with someone else even though the interview went well but it was an overwhelmingly positive interview experience.
