      Scrum Master Interview

      2 Dec 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VML in Oct 2024

      Interview

I applied for Scrum Master role. Then I was given Project Manager assignment. After clarifying I was told that they give the same assignments for both roles, however my role would be SM and not PM. That was first red flag, but I went with the process. After presenting the project plan I got message on the same day that they invite me to the final round. However next day I got a call with some absurd explanation, how there was a lot of people at the office that day (sic!) and there was some mixup. Final conclusion - they were looking for PM role all the time. This was all bait and switch and I think I dodged a bullet there. Absolute waste of time and show of incompetence and lack of respect and professionalism. The worst recruiting experience I have ever had. with
