June 2017. The interviewer was 30 minutes late to the interview. About 15 minutes into being late she sent me a message asking me to wait for her. She showed up finally and rushed through the whole interview. She didn't give me any time to respond to her questions or to familiarize myself with their platform. It was very loud and the technology wasn't good, it was hard to understand her and a delay in the response time. I was teaching the required class and she cut me off, told me I have a "fun class" and this interview was recorded and I would hear from the company at a later time. The company turned me down without any reasons cited which makes me think they discriminate based on looks and age. I was prepared, and I purchased extra items specifically for this interview. I know they claim they don't discriminate based on looks however if you watch the you tube videos of teachers attempting to recruit you, you will hear people say that looks are very important to them, that women should wear make up and red lipstick; this is a double standard in my opinion and a basis of discrimination.
