1st ten minute interview was quick. They asked on basics like experience and where you live. They don't really seem to care about that stuff though. Next was the short demo they had sent a slide show on how to do. I prepared props and everything. I have 10 years teaching experience as well. Interviewer proceeds to pretend that they don't understand, How are you? Then acts like she basically can't understand I word I am saying. This is a ridiculous way to test teacher ability. If you want to test teacher ability let them teach a lesson like a NORMAL student. They want to test your ability to deal with unresponsive students. This is again is asinine because if you know how to teach then your students won't be unresponsive!!! IDIOTS. Anyway I was like this is bull. I decided not to continue with the process. If you do want to interview with them when they pull this bull with pretending not to understand how are you then simply move on. That's what they want you to do. They don't want you to teach them How are you? They want you to skip it. I ended up going to USTalk. They are a little more TESOL inclined and understand what good teaching is!
