It was a group interview with three people. The manager did not show up, so I had three employees in the department. One person was on the Zoom call but had no video and was doing something else because you could hear doors opening and groups randomly talking in the background. That was very distracting. That person did not have much to say during the interview. Another person on the Zoom call turned off their camera moments after I mentioned my husband and then came back later, only to say that she didn’t see how my experience matches the job. I would hate to think she was homophobic. She would have heard how my experience matches if she hadn't gone anywhere. I have six years of experience in a hospital setting doing the same research that the job describes. I have authored four publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, plus a Master's in Data Analytics, which is more education than any of the 3 had.
