I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Miami, FL) in Dec 2012
Interview
Here are the steps I went through.
#1 Fill out on line application
#2 Take a test on line. The first part of the test was a personality type of test which was not timed... The second part of the test is timed and it consisted of answering I believe like four phone calls and typing in what the customer said or selecting the best answer. Take the practice test... It's easy u should be fine...
#3 I received a phone call from a recruiter who gave me details about the job. After her speech she set me up on a 1 on 1 interview for the next day.
#4 I attended the 1 on 1 interview with the recruiter. The interview consisted of a few questions about my previous work experience. The second part of the interview the recruiter asked me behavioral type of questions. Example: Tell me a time when you had to take the blame for another employees mistake. The interview lasted around 20-30 MINS. After the interview, the recruiter set me up on another 1 on 1 interview with the manager.
#5 A few days later I attended the 1 on 1 interview but it was with 2 supervisors. The interview was similar to my first interview. Questions about your work experience and behavioral type of questions. Example: Tell me a time when a co-worker acted unethical, what did you do. Interview lasted about 30 mins. After the interview they advised me that it'll take two weeks for them to come up with a decision.
#6 Two days later I received a phone call from a different recruiter with an offer. She emailed me a consent form, I filled it out and send it back to her.
So basically that's the step Im on... Now remember the job offer is not official until you pass the background check. They haven't said anything about drug testing yet, but Im pretty sure that will be the next step. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!
