Job was posted online and applied via Monster and company email. Contacted with an initial phone Interview, then face-to-face interview with the hiring manager, completed assessments (character and job history AND thinking skills/occupational interest/character-behavior), second interview was a group interview with the team and tour of facility/departments. Questions were typical of the position and the company's needs for its responsibilities as well as cultural fit.
Through interview process I had relationships with mutual professional contacts and I was asked if it would be alright to reach out to them, which I agreed.
