Was contacted by a recruitment manager on the opportunity then a phone screen was set up. Phine screen covered background and experience followed by face-to-face interview at their location. Entire cost of trip was covered by the company. A few days after the interview, received a call with an offer

Interview
Was woken up by a recruiter and asked if I was still in the market. Recruiter set preliminary phone interview with an associate. Got called within 2 days after prelim interview to set up 1:1 interview. Met with 2 associates and had a phone interview at location with 2 other associates due to last minute issues.
At the beginning of interview my actual position had not been decided (was being considered for either research associate I or II position) hence it was my performance that decided final position offered.
Was given a good overview of the work and asked about my experience; interviewer was quite friendly and asked me to buttress a previous experience. Other interviewers were also interested in experience so gave a general overview and answered elaborately on other questions that seemed to interest interviewers.
