I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uniqlo (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2018
Interview
All applicants are given a presentation about the company, afterward, you may have to wait for interview depending on your time up to 4 hours, mine was after 3 hours.
They have group interview of at least 2 applicants in each.
All the employee's representing company were Japanese, my interviewer seemed to have issues speaking proper English, therefore, he was asking incomplete and difficult to understand questions, I had to ask him to repeat a couple of times. At one point it seemed like recruiter needs more training for his job. Questions were basic, recruiter seemed like just asking questions for the sake and not engaging with the candidate to gain more insight into candidates experience and skillset. Since there are two applicants at the same time so you will get diverted attention from the recruiter.
If management is reading this- please diversify your employee's if you want to be world's best retailer.
It was really challenging. There were a lot of process that goes into it. Interviews, exams, situational questions and of course personal experiences that will help them define who you are.
Got so many levels to pass and even the first one is hard. Time consuming because so many levels and most of the interviews are physical interviews. If you already had a job it is hard to ask for leave for so many times.
several rounds of interviews. The entire process can take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks from application to offer.Online Application,Automated Video Interview,The Phone/Video Screening Interview (With HR), The Panel Interview or Series of One-on-Ones, etc.
