Not complex, but the principal was clearly far more worried about something else that had nothing to do with my qualifications. He kept emphasizing it was not for a teaching position and I repeated I knew that, but was applying because of funding crunch that eliminated other higher-paying positions. He acted like I had no business applying for this although I was clearly the best-qualified candidate for the job (and even the FIRST person to complete the application, other materials and submit them to him--which included a 98% previous evaluation for the same position. Who else was going to provide that or top that? No one!
