I had two calls with the Head PMO. The first call was for 30 minutes, and the second call, which lasted for 1 hour, included the Head PMO and the Product owner. It was a scenario-based interview focusing on my problem-solving skills and experience. At the end of the interview, I requested feedback within the next 2-3 days as I had another offer to consider. The Head PMO expressed that they liked my attitude and experience, and mentioned that I was the closest person for the role. They assured me that they would release the offer letter by Monday as they would be away on a business trip for the next 2 weeks. However, when Monday came, I didn't receive any communication. I tried to reach the Head of the PMO, but I received an auto-reply indicating that he was away. I then contacted HR on LinkedIn and was informed that the Head PMO decided to hire another candidate with no formal feedback email.
