As I was living overseas during the interview process, a lot of conversations were done via video call. I first had a short call with the HR hiring representative, telling me more about the role and the hiring process. Next, I had an interview with someone in the same role I was applying for for about 30 minutes. She was giving me more insights on the role, recent wins, challenges, and the company culture. I was telling more about my background, role and ambitions. Then, I did a candidate assessment (personality test) online which took about 1 hour. The next step was an interview series with representatives from different department (the hiring manager and heads of other departments I would be working together with). It was around 30-45 minutes per conversation, all via video call. Again, I gave an overview of my background, experience, strengths and challenges - and had the opportunity to ask all the questions I had on the company, role, and industry.
The recruitment team was very friendly, reactive, and professional. They provided timelines, agenda invitations, and dial-ins for every interview. Even though the recruitment representative changed during the process, I did not experience any delays or confusion. They did a great job in offering insights and timelines - so I was always informed and able to manage my expectations.
