I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (San Antonio, TX) in Feb 2020
Interview
I came in five minutes before the interview and waited almost an hour to be interviewed. The person conducting the interview informed me before walking into the office that it would be a "group interview", which I assumed meant it would be multiple people interviewing one candidate. In reality, it was the one interviewer talking to me and another person coming in for the same position SIMULTANEOUSLY. The interviewer would ask the other person a question then ask me, then the other way around for the next question. Trying to think of original answers to the same question that was just asked a person trying to get the same job as you while they're right next to you is not fun.

Straight-forward. One in person one on one interview with a manager. Short process and the manager was friendly. This was during the seasonal hiring time so I started working ASAP.
Scenario-based and behavioral questions. Many in relation to customers and management. I was asked a little bit about the public-facing descriptions in my resume; it was nothing too difficult. I felt confident that I got the job by the end.
