I first interviewed with the District Manager then the Store Manager. Once I was offered a position, I completed a drug test and background check. The process took about 1 week.

Question 1
They ask a lot of leadership style questions for management positions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2013
Interview
Informal, laid back. For a management position a district manager will interview you and they already know what they're looking for. Most likely you got the interview because of an impressive resume so they're really looking for how you can speak to your resume stats and are you full of positive energy.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Charlotte, NC) in Jun 2016
Interview
Received a phone call from the Area Manager to set up face to face interview the next day. Interview was about 45 minutes discussing my background ("tell me about yourself"). Casual, friendly/warm and relaxing interview, but still professional. Clear direction of the interview details, as well as follow up and when I'd hear for the next step in interview process (2nd interview), and when they'd make a decision.
