Interview
Initially the were very fast in contacting me about the role. I had my interview over the phone with a lady in the HR department at the Coppell Texas location. To say the least it was a bit disappointing. The interview was less then 12 min long and the question she asked weren’t that relevant to the job. Upon asking her more questions about company culture she said, “ We like things the way they are. We’re not looking for anyone to change that.” As well as “ Our company work style might be seen by some as micro managing.” That on top of there strict dress code policy which says women can only wear skirts made me a bit glad that I didn’t get the position. I hope this company can try to evolve from the culture it has now to one that embraces a bit more flexibility for its workers.

Interview
I've been a Manager, Senior Manager, and Interim Director for well over 10 years (and at very well known organizations). I was called and asked to interview for a team lead role as my qualifications better fit there. I haven't been a team lead since 2009. I felt like they didn't even read my resume. I am highly over qualified for a team lead role. It's not a good recruiting process to hire over qualified candidates. Your people will be under utilized for their skill sets, disengaged, and your attrition will rise. The Manager role and the Director role have been open for an extensive period of time. This might be why.
