      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Uline (Waukegan, IL)

      Interview

I was called to appear for an interview. Prior to the interview I was sent a lengthy Jung's personality test to be taken and sent back before the interview date. On the day of my interview I was told that I have to appear for more Skills/IQ tests and that I have to pass those tests in order to go for the second round. I was lucky enough to pass the tests and was sent to the HR Manager for the interview. The interview was merely anything but traditional types of questions. Later I was told that I should be informed for a technical interview if I were to be selected. With in a week I was called upon for a technical interview with the IT Manager. I had a feeling that the manager was more of interested in finding out about the new technologies being used by other companies. The whole interview process took me 40 minutes and through out that period I never felt a bit to be excited about this position. Exactly a week later, I was informed via email that my qualifications were exceptional but they found a better candidate for this position. As of yesterday, the position is still open.. Go Figure !!

      Application

      Interview

I am looking to return to work after a heart attack, it was incredible... I was applying for an IT Branch Support Position; I was given a Pattern Matching, and Number Matching test. It takes me about 8 hours to edit my Resume, Fill out their Application, get there for interview… I got 8 minutes of their time. It was a cattle call, and I was told nothing except I failed the test somewhere and would not move forward in the process. They told me they would keep my resume and I could re-test in 6 months. I asked where I failed and they WOULD NOT TELL ME. I took my resume package and threw it away. I was asked why I did that, I told them if I do not know where I failed, I won't be any smarter in 6 months. I have 27 years of IT networking and desk top experience, I have now been told I have no aptitude for that career. I am 53 years old and it seems that no amount of experience matters, just be young, pass the tests, be an ENFJ with a clean record, and never think outside the box and you are in.
