I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY) in Dec 2019
Interview
I was contacted online by an internal recruiter from Uber. There was an initial phone screen where they spoke about the role and asked about my background. Following that, I went through an online timed assessment that was roughly 2 hours. The assessment was really easy to go through. It was comprised mainly of multiple choice where answers were based on a dataset you had to play around with on Excel. There with a few open-ended questions where you had to describe how you'd introduce a new Uber service/product to drivers. I'm sure if you googled the assessment's name, you could probably find a more detailed answer on this. After passing the assessment, I was passed on for a 1-1 interview with one of the hiring managers. This was a basic case study where they'd explain briefly the economics surrounding Uber and ask you to walk through your thoughts, KPIs, etc. In the final round interview, I had go through a panel case study interview and a behavioral interview. The behavioral was pretty standard. The panel was 5-6 on 1 (from different departments) and involved a multi-part case study. The questions on the prompt were pretty straight-forward, especially since you were allowed to make assumptions, but it was difficult to predict the questions the panel would ask or make suitable answers without having a decent grasp of what Uber's internal data might look like.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Why are you interested in this role at Uber? What are you hoping to get out of it?
Very poor communication, weeks between contact with the recruiter, despite reaching out to them and letting them know that I have other processes running. One of the interviewers during the case study phase was clearly disinterested and was not shy to show it in terms of body language.
Had a good experience through the interview process
Recruiter was very responsive even after the interview.
Quite a fair bit of behaviour questions and role related questions from the hiring manager.

Question 1
Why do you want to join Uber?
How do you segregate the market?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Uber (Miami, FL) in Dec 2021
Interview
Very pleasant. A recruiter reached out, then spoke to her on the phone about what I am currently doing and what the job would entail. Very typical interview. I already had a job offer that I was excited about and going to take so I did not continue with the interview process.
