I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at US Navy in Jan 2010
Interview
The interview was great. I was being interviewed along with 40+ others. I had several interviews (3+) with different groups. The people are friendly, personable. My advice is know your field, so you can talk to them about it. Be friendly, and confident. It will get through the interviews. A great perk of this place is that you get every every other friday off with pay. Great place.
The different groups seem well defined an organized.
one supervisor interviewing, He spent about an hour asking me questions. Then he asked me into another room where I spent about 30 minutes talking with another employee, this employee spoke with me about the job and environment according to their perspective,
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at US Navy in Feb 2023
Interview
Easy recruiters to work with. Very informative. Lots of opportunities of places to work. Good opportunity for advancement. Can work in the US or abroad. Can change fields after arrival
I applied through university. I interviewed at US Navy
Interview
Very Rigid. Don't expect any verbal or non-verbal feedback during the interview. This is how the government keeps every interview the same with no advantage given to any one candidate.
You'll arrive early to receved 5 questions. You'll typically have 10 to 20 mins to review them prior to your interview. Then you go in an answer them. That's about it.
