I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Marine Corps (Houston, TX) in Mar 2011
Interview
You are tested over IQ and basic skills and overall screened to see if you meet the fitness standards of the Marines. Afterwards, you will be driven by a recruiter to a larger processing area depending on where you live. From there, you will go through another series of medical examinations and psychological tests to ensure that you will survive the harshness of your entry level basic training. Pass all that and good luck. Plane ticket to west or east coast to step on the yellow footprints. Oorah.
