you have to pass the asvab and be in good physical and mental state. be strong willed and have motivation. show them you want to be there. dedication and power of will.
Got in contact with a recruiter and went in, no real interview process. Talked about core values and other Marine Corps related beliefs. Also talked about MOS preference. Recruiters are there to sell you on the Marine Corps but generally do not lie (maybe embellish a little).

Board Interview consisting of members of your chain of command. Usually the questions will consist of job knowledge and marine corps knowledge. You'll also be rated on you military presence, bearing, and appearance.
