I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Air Force in Oct 2014
Interview
I was contacted by phone and asked a number of basic questions. They then asked for an in-person interview, and I was hired on-the-spot. This happened for both positions (same positions, same rank, different base) I applied for. I will say, though the environment was pleasant, I definitely feel like you have to have an insider connection to feel valuable to the interviewer. Given that NAF is meant to employ spouses in the area, especially overseas where jobs are both scarce and challenging to obtain, I don't find this particularly fair or appropriate. (IMHO)

Interview
I submitted my resume and was contacted by phone for an interview. An e-mail was sent to my personal address to confirm the time and date of the interview. Once arrived, we discussed my work history, my goals, objectives of the facility, and it went from there.
