      Associate Brand Manager Interview

      3 Oct 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Copenhagen, Capital Region
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at UNHCR (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Feb 2019

      Interview

Competency-based interviews are the most nerve-wracking interview experience you can have. I also had the unfortunate luck to have my entire interview panel experiencing technical difficulties. I know that this type of interview is supposed to improve the selection process, but it was not my opinion that the questions they asked gave a lot of insight into my skillset.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Situation: Describe the background or context. Task: Describe the task or challenge you were faced with. Action: Explain the action you took, and how and why you did it. Result: Describe how it ended, what you accomplished and what you learned from the situation. Relate the skill or ability you’re illustrating back to the vacancy you’re applying for and explain why it’s useful.
