Full disclosure: I never interviewed with them because their application system is without a doubt the worst I have ever seen, and I gave up on it. I started to apply once before, maybe a year ago, but bailed out then, too. When this job popped up in my alerts this morning I started to apply again, this time in the hope that they had improved things.
They had not.
After you upload your resume/CV you answer some basic profile questions, some of which are fine, others vary from irrelevant to clearly discriminatory and in many jurisdictions would be illegal (birth date, marital status, etc.), and they are REQUIRED.
It gets worse. Then you are presented with a list of your current and previous employers -- parsed from your CV -- but are then REQUIRED to detail everything: street address, phone number, manager's name, etc. Some of the companies I've worked for before don't exist anymore, and I've lost touch with many previous managers: some have retired, some may even have passed away by now.
I wonder how many excellent prospects for their various jobs bailed out when they saw what a mess this application process is. When this is the first impression one gets of an organization, it calls into question the capabilities and, quite frankly the competence of that organization.
