When I arrived at the location, I was made to wait for a considerable amount of time for no reason.
Soon the process started. The first round was with the HR. I introduced myself and he instantly started saying things like "You are a girl and here we don't give girls special benefits. Don't expect us to give you leave if anyone in you family is sick. All this is not tolerated here." I was shocked on hearing this because it was out of the blue. I thought maybe the company might have had some experience that it made the HR say this so I decided not to think much about it plus since this was during the pandemic, I thought that its best if I stay calm. Further he asked a few basic questions about my job experience and when we got to the point of salary discussion he said that what I'm expecting is not something that they are willing to give.
When this interview was fixed, I had been told that the salary starts from a specific range but during the interview the HR said that they don't even give that much on a higher side. He told me that if I'm willing to work on the salary that they are wiling to give (way less that market standards), I can continue the interview.
I realized that this whole place stinks of lies and sexism and decided to leave mid interview. I informed the receptionist that I'm leaving as I don't wish to continue to interview and I left.
