Really felt welcomed. Everyone was friendly and approachable. Great that all the assessors introduced themselves and wanted to get to know us through an icebreaker. I believed this made everyone feel more relaxed and be able to be themselves for the assessment. Great that everyone received items such as pens, notepads and even mints. This made the assessment day feel quite special for those who made it this far. The day was nicely broken up, an ice breaker to begin with. Followed by a group exercise which was fun and well thought out. Really got the groups thinking and working well together. It was also a fun subject to observe a group exercise. Followed by a coffee break, each candidate received a £2.50 vouched to redeem in the canteen which was a lovely touch. This was then followed by splitting half the group for one-to - one interview. While the other half completed a written assessment, for one source training whom support the candidate with the apprentice training. This was absolutely fine, it was also lovely to meet all the other candidates and assessors.
