I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at UJET
Interview
The interview process started on a positive note, particularly during the initial and technical interviews, which were smooth, structured, and aligned with the role. These stages created a positive impression of the company’s hiring process and expectations.
The final interview, however, was disappointing. Although it was positioned as a discussion to understand mindset, approach, and team fit, it became another technical evaluation, giving the impression that earlier assessments were not fully trusted. Throughout the discussion, prior experience was repeatedly dismissed simply because it did not align with HIS own background or personal experience. Also, professional QA certifications achieved were also openly downplayed, despite the time, effort, and commitment they represent toward continuous learning and professional growth.
The overall tone of the conversation reflected a superiority-driven approach rather than a collaborative or open exchange.
Finally, when asked how QA team members under him, are recognized after a demanding and successful release, the response was that there is no form of reward or acknowledgment. This, combined with a dismissive interview tone, raised concerns about leadership approach and team culture and while the compensation offered may be competitive, the interview experience highlighted leadership and cultural issues that significantly outweigh the benefits of the role.

Question 1
for technical, about test methodologies and types.
for Final, not worthy to mention.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at UJET (Portugal) in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview process was fairly standard with both technical and system design rounds.
The best part of the process was how the interviewers made me feel comfortable during the whole process and actually made me want to work with them (they felt smart but friendly and approachable).

Question 1
For the technical interview they just presented a fairly standard programming problem for me to solve and then iterate on based on their feedback/suggestions.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UJET in May 2025
Interview
Initial call with a recruiter and then a follow up with hiring manager. I am positive that I would have been successful in the role yet after a seemingly positive interview, I received no feedback and a canned response of moving on (extra spaces even noticed around the job title, couldn't even get the time for proper formatting)
