received a call from the very friendly supervisor asking if i would be interested in doing a face-to-face interview. i had one interview with the supervisor and she was very casual and easygoing. she called me later that night with a job offer. a couple weeks later i had an orientation and my first day of training.

they just ask if you have job availability, if you have work study, how many units you are taking and if you have any previous work experience. Super easy process, they onboard you quickly unless it has to go through approval of the chair dept
The interview process was quick and fun as the interviewers were so kind. They ask questions regarding customer service, time management, and other questions about why you want to work at a library.

Interview
The student assistant interview was relatively easy. I was asked a few behavioral questions and there were a few role specific skills they tested in terms of design. It took approximately 30 minutes and they got back to me vey quickly about the position offering. There wasn't an opportunity to negotiate at the student assistant level.
