      Help Desk Specialist Interview

      27 Mar 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Irving, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at U.S. Bank (Irving, TX) in Dec 2018

      Interview

Easy going interview process, typical interview questions. Not many deep thinking questions. First I got a call from an HR rep then after a 15 minute phone interview the info was sent to the hiring manager and after some email exchanges I scheduled an in-person interview. After that I was called up by the HR rep again and was offered the job. Process was simple and very effective

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Explain a time you went above and beyond for a customer. (this was asked during my phone interview)

      Anonymous employee
      Portland, OR
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at U.S. Bank (Portland, OR) in Mar 2014

      Interview

I received the initial phone screen on 3/19, interviewed on 3/25. Sent a follow up thank you letter on 3/25..didn't hear anything for 10 days, sent the hiring manager a follow up email on 4/3/14, she got back to me on 4/4/14 and told me that the candidates should know the following week. I received the offer on 4/11/14 via phone and I am still waiting for the email to confirm the position.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Nothing difficult, it was a very straight forward and friendly interview, hiring manager and two others. Just be prepared to sell yourself, explain why you would be a good candidate and prepare a solid introduction explaining your background and what you have been doing recently.
