I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies in Aug 2018
Interview
I got the in-person interview through a recruiter. I got the interview a week after my recruiter submitted my resume.
First I was asked some questions about my previous experience. Then they asked me stories about my work, based on the bullet points on my resume. For example, how did I migrate the technologies from an old stack to a more modern stack. After dissecting my resume, then I was asked the questions below. I did not end up getting an offer. I am assuming it was the way I solved the elastic search question. Perhaps, I could have showcased my problem solving skills better for something I was not too familiar with. The interview took an hour and a half. The first part was the technical individuals, asking me the questions below, and the second question was the HR person, asking me if I had any HR related questions for him. I asked him the usual questions about a company.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies (Lakewood, CO) in Sept 2025
Interview
Technical: Fantastic, overseers helped me code and were interested primarily how i worked, not how well i did. I was assigned to program a game with an algorithm to properly adjust and see how I worked in a team
I applied online. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies (Lubbock, TX)
Interview
Only had a phone interview and it was average. I was not prepared to be asked any technical questions, so it was a little rough for me answering the questions.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies in Feb 2025
Interview
Easy process, took a few weeks from start to finish, simple(ish) coding challenge, technical interview with a few members of the team, and then a few weeks of waiting. Communication was good and everyone seemed great!
