The hiring process was a bit off-putting at first, as Tyco hires whole training classes at a time, so I had to wait until there were enough applicants to start scheduling interviews. The time I waited between when I applied and when I sat for my first interview was around 10 weeks total. The HR representative who interviewed me seemed more than a little busy, and sort of flew through the questions, but was very pleasant and straightforward. In addition, the left hand of HR didn't always seem to know what the right hand was doing, as I received multiple calls from different HR personnel requesting the same documentation, only to receive confused responses when I told them that Mrs. So-and-So had already asked after that document.
In short, you'll get there, but you had better be patient.
