Applied Online. Got a email saying I was offered an interview, accepted the time and date.
Issue #1: Position is part time but they wanted 3 years of experience. That just isn't realistic.
Issue #2: Interviewer did not read my resume. Flat out asked me if I had any communications writing experience or had used Google Analytics. All of which are listed on my resume. My writing portfolio link is at the top.
Issue #3: Although the first interview was a screening I asked more impactful questions than she did. None of her questions were contextual or applied to the job.
Issue#4: Very secretive. Said that there was a writing test but couldn't tell me if it was an essay or editing or both. In what world do you walk into a test without knowing what you're gonna be tested on?
Issue#5: Flat out told me that there were approximately 8 other candidates that she was interviewing. Don't use fear to scare me into pleading for a job. I'm qualified. If you don't like me I'll get hired somewhere else.

Interview
I got an email a week or so after applying online asking to set up a phone interview. We went back and forth on interview times, as they seemed interested in doing the interview right away but I work and couldn't take too much time away from my current job.
After a couple of back and forths, we settled on a date and time. When the time of the interview came around, I did not receive a call. After 10 minutes passed, I emailed the contact who set up the interview to ask if it was still happening. She did not get back to me until about an hour later (passed the time of the interview) and she did not apologize but only asked if someone ended up calling me, to which I informed her that no one called.
After that, I have received no additional emails or calls from the organization, and am no longer interested in reaching out as the situation has put a bad taste in my mouth.
