Received a phone screen from an HR person and talked about basic background info. I originally applied for a Lab Tech job but she asked if I was interested in other positions as well, and I said yes. A few days later I received a call from who I believe was the president or who after some short discussion convinced me to interview for the liquids batch maker position.
My in person interview was primarily with the HR manager. It was more me sitting there while she ranted about how she basically had the CEO's ear and could do whatever she wanted. She proceeded to tell me about how she was constantly skirting along the fringe of breaking labor laws so often that she was talking with their labor lawyer every other day. It was less of an interview than me sitting there and nodding while she rattled on and on. Then during the plant tour I received from the plant manager they discussed a recent employee injury/safety violation directly in front of me!
In short, there were more red flags than a bullfighting convention. I cannot express how unprofessional and off-putting the whole process was. There were more things I could mention but this review has gone on long enough and I think you get the idea. I wouldn't touch this place with a ten-foot pole and I pity anyone who works there who has to deal with the psychopathic management.
