The interview process consisted of:
- Initial screening interview
Discussion about career goals and general leadership approach.
- Two online assessments
Alva personality and logic tests.
- Interview with the Head of Development
Focused mainly on team management, collaboration with other development teams, and experience managing teams in previous roles. There were also questions about metrics and general management approaches. Any technical questions, if present, were relatively high-level.
- Interview with the team
- Potential interview with the CTO
I reached the interview stage with the Head of Development and was later informed that I would not be moving forward. The rejection message was quite generic. I followed up requesting feedback but did not receive a response.
There were delays throughout the process, and timelines were not clearly communicated in advance. The final decision was shared almost a month after the interview.
