I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Turner Construction (New York, NY) in Jan 2012
Interview
The interview was very last second, they gave me about two days notice. I had to get there around 8 am and was done way before lunch, around 10:30. The interview process was three one on one sessions. One was with HR, another with a Project Manager and a third with someone in community outreach. They asked about my resume and experience and asked me some questions about what I knew about the company. Turner's website has good information to prepare.
Initial phone call screening went well, the recruiter was welcoming and explained the position and future career options at Turner. I got to ask questions and got offered a additional interview.
