Extremely Unprofessional Hiring Process – Complete Waste of Time:
This was one of the most frustrating and poorly managed hiring processes I have experienced.
My salary expectations were clearly stated and acknowledged at the very beginning. Despite this, I was put through four interview rounds, cleared all of them, asked to submit official documents, and repeatedly told that I was shortlisted, with only the final salary discussion remaining.
After more than a week of engagement and multiple follow-ups, I was informed that the company does not have the budget for the role.
This is not a small mistake. It points to a serious lack of internal alignment, planning, and accountability. Proceeding with multiple interview rounds and document collection without confirming budget approval is irresponsible and shows a complete disregard for a candidate’s time and effort.
The entire process was misleading, inefficient, and entirely avoidable. I strongly recommend that future candidates get written confirmation on budget alignment before investing significant time in this company’s interview process.
