First stage was a basic phone call interview and then a take-home assessment was assigned. Had to build a maze game using their API, a fun task and took some time to get it done. After submission, I was invited to the next stage a 1.5 hour interview with one half motivational/behavioural and the other a code review task. Interviewers were great and very polite. Received a phone call that I would be hearing back soon and it would be “positive” as they wouldn’t have called me if it wasn’t.
Radio-silence for 2 weeks and then got a rejection e-mail. Contacted back for feedback but completely ghosted. Frustrating after completing the take-home and all these stages to not even get any feedback, which would be the single silver lining of any rejection as feedback is extremely valuable.
