first round was a formal phone interview to know about my current role and responsibilities. And some technical questions. Ended on a positive note. I was then called on for an in-person.
The TEAM LEAD started with a brief introduction of the project and what the role expects out of me.
I started with a brief intro of my career. I was asked a question to write the logic on board. Given me enough time and hinted me in right direction. I was then able to get the task accomplished. And several other questions followed and I answered.
Then comes the Director of Ecommerce. Had a friendly chat and informed that I had strong experience with a specific topic. here comes a question about my experience, he provided hints again and again I proved I knew little about which I claimed I have good experience. I was not at my best at that point. I suggest everyone, GIVE YOUR BEST AT ANY POINT OF TIME IN THE INTERVIEW, PRESENT WHAT YOU KNOW. Then asked me another Q which I believe answered correctly. Then he asks if I have any questions? I asked him a suggestion of what drives him in this technology field. There he goes after providing me a fine suggestion. The TL comes in and asks me how did it go? I said not so good and there he finishes the interview.
