I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TruGreen in Feb 2012
Interview
The expectations were that you knocked on min. 100 doors a day 10 hrs 6 days a week micro mg'd in the field laid off 4 mos a year and they refused me w/15 yrs sales exp. because they told visitation from 5 - 8 PM twice a wk disqualified me. The interview also required you to sell the branch mgr his pen back to him and close the him which I did.
This was a Relaxed interview. The leader interviewing was very nice and informative. He was open and willing to provide information freely. I watched a video about TruGreen before the interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TruGreen (Upper Saddle River, NJ) in Jan 2016
Interview
The branch office is not as professionally furnished and looked very basic but it was fine since it is not a place that clients visit anyway. The first interviewer was very personable and put me at ease and he asked very generalized questions. He encouraged me to ask questions which I kept doing and he answered all of them willingly and clearly. The second interviewer was not as professional as I expected and he became a bit repetitive. I liked the "role play exercise" and the weakness question because I always expected the "what is your strength" questiion.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TruGreen (Riverside, CA) in Mar 2015
