their pre hire assessment consists of a written cognitive exam, trauma and medical stations, splinting, an oral board, and hr interview. most proctors are kind and helpful and they are really seeing if you know your stuff. their pass rate for the cognitive is 84% so it's not a test to wing. trauma, medical, and splinting are pretty universal and they follow the nremt guidelines. the oral board consists of proctors feeding you scenarios which you are called to act upon and they judge your response.
