I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied online and the next day I had an email from the recruiter asking me when was the best time to call me. I set it up for the beginning of the following week in the morning. That day came and she called me on time as promised and she just asked me simple questions as far as why am I leaving my current job and that I'm over qualified for this position im applying for. I decided to go along with this anyway and went on to set up for the 3 1/2 hour test and typing test at 8 am the following Tuesday. I found out the same day that I passed with no problem. The hardest part about the 3 1/2 hr test was that it was timed. I then made an appointment the following week to do the face to face interview with the 2 managers. That day came the unit manager came out and got me as I was waiting in the lobby. We sat down and she asked me about 10 behavioral questions with a gentleman along with her taking notes. She just pretty much read off a paper. Overall it took about 45 mins. I thought it went well, we were all laughing at times and they made me somewhat comfortable. When I was leaving she said we will let you know by Labor day which was like 3 weeks away. When that week of Labor Day came, nothing but slience. No email, no call...which is fine if I wasn't picked but don't promise to do something and not do it!! I thought that was very rude. By the end of that week on Thursday I emailed the recruiter and that Friday I had a generic email from them. I was surprised that Travelers- who's suppose to hire people with "top talent" would have hiring managers that handles their interview process in this manner. Not sure if this person realized how poorly it reflects on the company...and with that said, all we are asking for is a quick yes or no answer in a timely manner so we can move on to other interviews.

Question 1
Name a time when you had an idea and were able to put it into action and accomplished it.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Buffalo, NY) in Sept 2018
Interview
After I submitted my resume, within 24 hours I received the next step in the process which was to complete an online skills test which could take up to 1 hour if you used every minute of allocated time. It consisted of 4 mock phone calls that required you to fill in information and correctly utilize the system to complete the callers request
The next step was a 1-on-1 phone interview that went over basic information about the position and my education and experience. The last part of the interview process was having a group meeting with two unit managers who asked STAR questions.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Windsor, CT) in Jan 2018
Interview
The process was quicker than i expected it to be. It began with an online assessment after I applied. After the online assessment I was contacted to set up a phone interview a few days later (January16th) . The phone interview consisted of employment/educational history questions as well as some behavioral questions. At the conclusion of my phone interview I was informed that I was moving forward to an in-person interview which was scheduled for the following day (January 17th). The in-person interview was preformed by two managers and consisted of about an hour of behavioral/situational questions (same questions that were asked during the phone interview but a bit more in depth). About a week after the interview I was contacted and given an offer on January 24th (contingent on a successful drug test and background check which I completed on January 25th). Approximately one week later I was contacted and informed that I was officially hired (February st).

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Windsor, CT) in Jan 2018
Interview
The process was very straight forward. Begins with an online assessment after applying and meeting the minimum requirements. After the online assessment I was contacted to set up a phone interview that same week. The phone interview consisted of employment/educational history questions as well as some behavioral questions. At the conclusion of my phone interview I was informed that I was moving forward to an in-person interview schedule for the following week. The in-person interview was preformed by two managers and consisted of about an hour of behavioral/situational questions. About a week after the interview I was contacted and given an offer (contingent on a successful drug test and background check). Approximately one week later I was contacted and informed that I was officially hired.
Throughout the entire process the hiring team does a great job of staying in contact and never making you feel left in the dark. Everyone that I interacted with was extremely kind and showed a genuine interest in my background and future ambitions.
