After applying online, I quickly received an email for a group interview. You meet up with the interviewers and other interviewees in a confrence room (for me it was at a hotel). As a group, you will listen to the interviewers introduce themselves. They will then ask to see everyone who has tattoos. They are weeding out the people who have highly visible tattoos that cannot be hidden by the uniform. Once that is finished, the interviewers will then describe the history of Trans States as well as what they expect out of their flight attendants (duties, pay rate, benefits, etc.) After allowing the interviewees to ask their own questions, there will be a prompt that has multiple questions. Every interviewee has to stand up and answer one question to the group. Once that is finished, the interviewers break off from the group to narrow down who they want to interview individually and who they are going to let go. Those who move onto this next step, immediately sit down to talk to one interviewer away from the group for a more in depth interview. If you pass this, you will get an email a few days later, detailing training dates and what paperwork you need to fill out.
