Question 1
What is contango and backwardation. What is arbitrage and types of arbitrage. What is important factor of arbitrage apart from price. What does trafigura does. How does it make money. Types of crude oul products. Diesel is heavier or jet fuel. What would be 5 essential things in the contract while you enter into one( price , quantity, dekivery date etc) . How will you hedge selling a oil barrel 3 months from now. What are the risks involved in transfer of goods. In a normal fair market scenario the mkt will be in contango or backwardation

Interview
The process involved, an HR interview, then a technical one-on-one PI with 1 member of the team, then 2 panel PIs with senior team members.
The duration of the interview and their review and feedback took forever to come. The entire process took up almost 3 months of time.
The worst part was that I had applied for Deals Desk Analyst and was interviewed for it, whereas their mails read that I was going to be interviewed for Oil Operations. The confusion of designation ruined half of my chances anyways, and add upon that the result of an interview coming after 2 weeks and the next round details revealed after a further 2-3 weeks.
