Interview
It is concerning that an organization with the standing of the TDSB, which serves diverse multi-ethnic communities, does not reflect this diversity in its interview panels, particularly when interviewing Black candidates for teaching positions. Representation matters, and the lack of it in this context raises questions about the organization's commitment to inclusivity and cultural sensitivity.

Interview
Panel interview. They (3 people) ask 5 questions. You have five minutes per question. They give you points for every question you answer correctly. If you don’t directly reference the pbla and clb benchmarks, you will not get the job. The interviewer that provided me with feedback actually laughed at the fact that I didn’t directly quote/reference the pbla companion and clb benchmarks directly. Overall a very unprofessional experience and disappointed in the interview process at the TDSB.
