I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tompkins International in May 2015
Interview
I had a brief interview with the person who would be my manager. We talked for 10-15 minutes about what I would do and if I knew a few programs. It was simple and easy.
A few days later I get a call from another person for a second part interview. They were more direct, such as "How good are you at ______? Why? How good are you at _____? Why?" Then they talk about how I'll be on business trips about half the time, even though I was looking for jobs with no travel. The basic information about the job didn't mention any, and neither did the first person I talked to. This person doesn't know what I'm talking about when I said I didn't know there was travel. I was so confused, and had no idea what was all going on. I figured the job wouldn't happen
I guess the second person didn't know what they were interviewing me for because then travel wasn't part of the job.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tompkins International
Interview
Very unprofessional. We had set up time for a quick phone interview with a window of 2-3 hours and I never got a call. Emailed to see if everything was alright and set up another 2-3 hour window for a call and they missed that too. Eventually got an in-person interview but even after that their response was very slow and vague.
