I sat down with the hiring manager to talk about my experiences. I am sure it is not every store, but in the store I was interviewed in, the manager was very cold and condescending.

What are your previous experiences in retail and how do they translate do this role?
Asked me about how I would help customers and I told them I love to help customers and then they asked me to fold clothes and then walk through how I would clean the store
Got asked basic qualification questions around experience with customer service and ability to communicate. Also got asked if I can speak another language. Process was one round and fairly quick

Interview was very good, asked questions about previous roles and experience, asked how I would support customers etc. Made me feel welcome and comfortable and supported me through the whole process.
