I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Tommy Bahama (Scottsdale, AZ) in Oct 2010
Interview
Very comfortable and easy going interview. I spoke with two senior managers then the general manager after passing the first round of questions. I also met with the regional store manager for my interview as well. Very round table, sit down in style. Relaxed. Basic questions regarding sales style and why I liked the company or company knowledge were asked. Wear Tommy style clothing at interview here. A suit won't help.

Question 1
There weren't any unexpected questions asked. Very solid basic questions regarding sales experience and personal philosophy about how to sell.
Very straightforward. Asks about your previous experience and what you bring to the table. What interests you about Tommy Bahama, and Sales? Asks questions of how you would deal with certain customers and complaints.
My interview was quick and easy, relaxed and conversational. I submitted my application online then just stopped in in person to introduce myself, so it happened out on the sales floor and was very laid back. Decision was made quickly and was offered a job on the spot.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tommy Bahama (Sydney) in Aug 2024
Interview
1 minute face to face concerning availability. Really quick and standard. No need to dress up. I expected a slightly longer interview but the person interviewing basically wanted to see that I existed.
