One of the worst recruiters I have ever experienced in my life. When I asked about the expected compensation, she retorted that she didn't like my attitude and will be following up with the hiring manager to see if this will be a dealbreaker. I was taken aback by her tone and completely turned off from the company. Not sure if this is what toast's culture is like but I was shocked and disappointed.

There were many rounds of interviews but the panel was engaging and insightful. Most of the panel was friendly and had crisp questions. HR was constantly in touch throughout the process which we see very less in other organizations.

The process is smooth, and people are friendly and helpful. It is a very thoughtful recruiting process and I like the culture there.
There are many rounds of interview, so it's important to prepare in advance.
The recruiter and hiring manager did not follow up after the interview. Though interview experience itself was positive, communication was poor and can be improved upon as a courtesy to applicants.
