      SDR Interview

      7 Sept 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Mateo, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tipalti (San Mateo, CA)

      Interview

Much of process is standard for any SDR job. You have multiple phone screens and finally an on-site with an evaluation of a small SDR assignment. The new head of sales was fantastic to speak with but the final round was incredibly messy. After starting almost 30 mins late, they jumbled around the schedule and kept me way later than promised. The worst part was that they had the nerve to cancel my interview with the head of sales due to an internal scheduling conflict. I was told I still needed to speak with him and would have a follow up the next week. Instead I was ghosted for about 2 weeks and denied the job after being promised an additional round. I wasted too much time on this opportunity and wouod advice some improvements in the hiring process.
