Overall, the interview process was extremely long and drawn out. From start to finish, it lasted about 7-8 weeks. After the initial phone screening with HR, it took over 2.5 weeks to hear back about next steps. After the screening, the next step was meeting with one of the media directors. They basically showed me their platform and one of their campaigns/partners and asked me a lot of questions on how I would optimize, what are the insights I am taking away from the data, etc. It was really difficult given it was the first time I was seeing their platform. The next round was a panel interview with 3 other team members. It lasted about an hour and overall went really well. I was expecting good news, but turns out they wanted me to meet with yet another person. For the 4th round, I interviewed with the head of media. It was a basic interview, however extremeley repetitive and frustrating, because at this point they were asking me the same questions over and over. It was frustrating that they couldn't streamline the process. They followed up with me about a week later, and let me know they were proceeding with other candidates. I was a bit disappointed and felt very misled by the HR recruiter, because before scheduling the last round, they had told me the team thought I would be a great addition. Not sure why they would tell me that then change their minds. Very disappointed and felt like a waste of time.
