I asked the manager at the location what I should do to apply, since I have never had never been officially employed before. She was very nice to me, and told me to fill out a form and give her my resume so that she could give it to HR. I got called the next day, and booked an interview for as soon as possible, which was the day after the next. That day, I arrived at the HR office for my area. I was told by the receptionist to sit down and wait to be called. The interviewer mixed me up with someone else, so we started off amicably. After going to get my resume, she came back, told me to follow her to a conference room, where a man was waiting. They both participated in my interview. We talked about me, my past, and asked me a series of questions. Both were very nice, and it seemed like everything was going smoothly. At the end, they told me that they would call me back if they chose to give me an offer. I have not yet received a call back. I called again and left a voicemail message (since no one answered) inquiring about the status of my application, but I have yet to receive a reply. It has been nearly a month since my interview. I went and asked my manager whether she was still hiring, and she said yes. I guess I was deemed not suitable for them.
